    Besides the main tourist attractions, we’ll take time to wander through local markets, talk with everyday Egyptians, see workshops making handmade goods, and try delicious street-food. Since I lived in Egypt for several years, speak fluent Arabic, and have spent 10 years traveling throughout the country, I can truly take you behind the scenes.

    I get asked all of the time, “Is Egypt safe for gay travelers?”, and the answer is nuanced, but overall, YES! It is totally safe for gay and lesbian travelers, and my tours specifically are designed to help LGBTQ+ people, both singles and couples, to experience Egypt in a safe and comfortable environment. These tours are not just for LGBTQ+ people though—anyone is welcome!

  • A true, small-group experience

    Other tour companies claim they do “small group” trips, but have 20 or more travelers in their groups. I cap groups at a maximum of 14 travelers, and sometimes have smaller groups, allowing you to visit places not possible with more people.

  • Privately-chartered Dahabeya Nile Cruise

    We will get to move at our own pace on our privately chartered Dahabeya Yacht, avoiding all of the large cruise ship crowds. These Dahabeya Nile Cruises give lots of opportunities to enjoy the pristine countryside, and our full complement of staff, including our onboard personal chef, will ensure we are taken great care of.

“Gus does one of the best tour experiences you’re going to ever find. There's a few things that set Gus apart. His passion and enjoyment of helping people experience Egypt the best that they can. I’m a big guy and I knew going into this trip I couldn't do everything, but Gus and his wonderful Egyptologist he had with us (Ebram) were so helpful in knowing not just Egyptian history, but also the things people don't think about...like there's a bench around the corner or drink more water.

Gus also checks out what he's gonna do on the tours himself first. Like Kemet which was the Dahabeya we sailed down the Nile on which was truly a highlight of our trip. The crew was just as amazing as the food. He even stays a night at the hotels we are using. His tours are also LGBT friendly but that doesn't mean you have to be part of that community to choose Gus as we had 3 married straight couples on our tour and one even brought their mom from Brazil. Gus goes the extra mile to really make sure people are safe and have fun. We had security with us on excursions and he even has someone that is with you start to finish at the airport, so you’re never alone, which takes the stress out of stuff like getting visas, tipping, customs, even just getting to your hotel. I did this as a solo traveler and had a wonderful time. I feel like Gus is an old friend that I just ran into and would go with his travel experiences again.
